Data Protection in BAUPOINT, s.r.o.
(hereinafter referred to as “BAUPOINT”)
1. BAUPOINT, s.r.o., located at Mokrohájska cesta 10, 841 04 Bratislava, Company ID: 35 863 218 (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) is obliged under Regulation 2016/679 GDPR on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as “Regulation”) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and amending certain laws (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Data Protection Act”) to ensure the protection of personal data. We have adopted technical, organizational, and personnel security measures that allow us to ensure network security and data backup, the resilience of information systems containing personal data against malicious codes, unwanted modifications, unauthorized access, manipulation of devices or carriers, etc. We also aim to prevent various security incidents through preventive controls. The measures are regularly updated and define the scope and manner of security measures necessary to eliminate and minimize threats and risks to the information system, with the aim of ensuring:
· Availability, integrity, and reliability of systems through modern information technologies,
· Protection of personal data against loss, damage, theft, modification, destruction, and preservation of confidentiality,
· Identification of potential problems and sources of disruption and prevention of them.

2. Access to personal data is granted to office staff who have been instructed on the rights and obligations concerning personal data processing and are obligated to maintain confidentiality, which persists even after the end of the personal data processing.
- 3. These rules on personal data protection and the use of cookies apply to all services provided by BAUPOINT, s.r.o., both directly at the office, on the website https://baupoint.sk, or on Facebook. They do not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, nor to products or websites that may appear on the website https://baupoint.sk in the form of advertisements, links, etc.
4. BAUPOINT, s.r.o. collects personal data from:
· Inquiring clients, offering clients of BAUPOINT, s.r.o., as well as on the website https://baupoint.sk and Facebook.
· Job applicants who register in the company’s applicant database via the contact form on the website or respond to an offer by providing data to the email address info@baupoint.sk (hereinafter referred to as “data subjects”). The processing of personal data of job applicants is carried out based on their “Consent” for processing personal data as per Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation, which the applicant provides. The operator will contact only successful applicants.
Personal data will not be transferred to a third country. Personal data will not be used for automated individual decision-making, including profiling.
Personal data is stored for 12 months from the granting of consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent to process personal data at any time before this period expires by sending a request to the email address: info@baupoint.sk or by sending a request to the Operator’s address, indicating “GDPR Withdrawal of Consent” on the envelope. The operator declares that, in the case of a written request from the data subject to cease processing personal data before the specified deadline, such data will be erased within 30 days of receipt of the withdrawal of consent.
- Personal data is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. We only collect personal data that is necessary to provide our services and maintain records in the applicant database or provide employment. Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to fulfill the defined purposes of data processing, but no longer than the duration of the respective contract or settlement of mutual obligations arising from it. Invoices, as well as other tax and accounting documents, are kept in accordance with the relevant legal regulations for 10 years after the year to which they relate. After this period, your personal data will be deleted.
- In accordance with § 16 (1) of the Personal Data Protection Act, the data subject is required to provide only truthful personal data, otherwise, they will be responsible for the inaccuracy of such data.
- Every data subject has the right to information on the status of the processing of their personal data, to correct or delete incorrect data, to delete personal data when the purpose of processing has ended, to delete personal data if the law has been violated, to block personal data due to the withdrawal of consent before the expiry of its validity, to object to the processing of personal data by stating legitimate reasons or providing evidence of unauthorized interference with their rights and legally protected interests, and other rights arising from § 28 of the Personal Data Protection Act.
- The provided consent may be withdrawn by the data subject at any time, in writing, to the email and postal address below (see Article III).
- The legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, Act No. 297/2008 Coll. on the protection from money laundering and the financing of terrorism and amendments to certain laws as amended. This means that processing your personal data is not subject to your consent, as we are obligated to process your personal data under the specified law for the purposes of preventing and detecting money laundering and the financing of terrorism. These data are subsequently stored in accordance with Act No. 395/2002 Coll. on archives and registries.
